5 Ways to Wellbeing
Many factors influence our wellbeing; evidence shows that the actions we take and the way we think have the biggest impact. This workshop can help to think about ‘being well’ as something you do, rather than something you are. The more you put in, the more you will get out.
Keeping your mind clear from stress and being able to recover quickly from setbacks is fundamental to performing well but perhaps more importantly, it is fundamental to enjoying what you do, getting on with others and maintaining your wellbeing. By discovering the root causes of stress and how we can increase our ability to be resilient will develop greater emotional stability and life and work will seem less like an emotional roller-coaster.
Emotional Intelligence for Professionals
Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise our emotions, understand what they’re telling us, and realise how our emotions affect people around us. Emotional intelligence also involves our perception of others: when we understand how another person feels, it allows us to manage relationships more effectively. People with high emotional intelligence are usually successful in most things they do, typically they earn more money and they are also the people others want to be around and collaborate with.
Personal Effectiveness and Time Management
There are only so many hours in a day, sometimes it feels like you will never get everything done, you will never be truly caught up or meet all the demands placed on you. Time has come to find a smarter way to work. In today’s society it can be difficult to know what to focus on, how to manage our energy and make the most of our time, so that we know we are making progress, genuinely moving forward in the areas that matter to us.
Fostering Self Belief and Confidence
We all know what it is like to get stuck and lack confidence. Many people feel this way after they take on new responsibilities and fear they don’t yet have all the skills they need to do the job and soon someone will find that out. For others a lack of confidence holds them back from going for promotion, or trying new things or pursuing career goals. This workshop will help you build your self-confidence and go about your work with heart and competence.
Sometimes it feels like a bit of a drain to have to keep telling people what to do and fixing other people’s problems. You would like people to take more responsibility, recognise the part they play in overcoming their problems and following through with solutions. This workshop will help you, to help others, to help themselves. So that others can muster up the motivation they need to do what they need to do.
